How to pass variable in url of your own plugin..

    Hi,

    I was making a plugin and now i need to pass some variable from the url to access the data.
    But whenever I write something like ?myvar=, a page comes of saying “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page“.

    Can anybody tell me why it is happening. I have search a lot and found
    about query_vars, but that is not also useful..May be it is because of some authorization issue.

    Please suggest something. I can share my code also if needed.
