• Hi folks
Been scratching my head on this one. Recently upgraded the server from Fedora Core 3 to 4, in the process had some problems and was forced to resinstall from scratch. I backed up the the necessary files and databases beforehand. Everything was working fine before. After the install, dumped all the files back on to the web server. Now after fiddling with permissions, everything works fine..except when viewing any Archived posts. They dont display properly and are mixed in with what looks like raw code, and run straight off the screen. Here is an example

Any ideas? I rechecked all permissions and it seems ok.

  • Your post contents are surrounded by <pre><code> tags, which is why they look so odd. Something in your template, perhaps? Or maybe a plugin doing something?

Well, this was basically a drag and drop type thing. I reinstalled, then just dumped the backed up files from the original site right in there, restored the database. Then adjusted permissions.
