• I began using the Portfolio Slideshow plugin today to set-up a slideshow on the homepage of my website. I am trying to get the text to wrap around the slideshow. Right now it is only showing up underneath or above, leaving a blank white space directly to the right of the slideshow. Can someone please give me some suggestions as to what I can do? Is this possible? Thanks

  • Personally, I would just center the slideshow and I think it’ll look nice that way. I don’t think it’ll look great with the text wrapped around it – it’ll be too cluttered.

The reason your text isn’t wrapping is that your slideshow contains a bunch of <div> tags, which are what’s called block-level elements. You would need to override that to make the slideshow display what’s called “inline” instead. That would involve making some CSS and possibly HTML tweaks, but quite honestly – I wouldn’t bother. I think the centering option would look best.

    Good luck!
