How can I set my text widget background to transparent?

    Hi all,
    I’m using the Arras theme on WordPress V3.0.4 – my site is http://www.graftersdiy.co.uk and I’m struggling with how to set the background of a text box widget that I have made into a button in my side bar to transparent just so it looks nicer.
    I’m very new to all this, and my coding skills are very minimal, so any help would be massively appreciated! : )
