    Thanks for the compliments. It’s nice to see people using it.

    I really love the regulus 2 template, especially the calendar.
    One problem i encounter is the image shown in the web is ‘truncated’, if you see my blog you will understand what I mean. The right side of the image is a bit truncated.

    Anyone has the same problem? and is there a way to fix it? thanks

    I truly love the look of Regulus and want to use it with my clean installation of WordPress 2.0. But— I am experiencing some odd behavior. As soon as I copy the Regulus folder into my Themes folder and designate Regulus as my theme, WordPress stops working! By that I mean that all pages load blank, including all admin pages and the blog itself.

    The only way to restore sanity is to delete the Regulus theme and reassign another theme to my blog.

    Has anyone else experienced this? An idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?

    I love the Regulus2 theme. I’m using it for my blog, although I have done some modifications to it πŸ™‚

    I’ve noticed a tiny problem with many implementations of the regulus theme. In the page navigation tabs across the top, if the text contains a space (eg “contact me”), the second word will wrap underneath, messing up the formatting. Check it in Internet Explorer to see what I mean.

    The cause can be found here:

    ul#nav li a {
    padding:1em 1.2em;
    ... (edited)
    display:block;
    _width:1em;
    }

    The “_width:1em” is a hack for IE to expand the tab’s hotspot to the full size of the ‘li’. A side effect is that, since the width is 1em, any spaces will wrap onto the next line.

    Fix this by adding “white-space:nowrap;” to the rules.

    Wow – I didn’t realise people had been replying.

    lmurillo – thanks – your site looks good.

    meljgrey – this is a strange problem and a number of people have had the same error. If you check out my blog (read the comments) you will see a potential solution. The post you want to refer too is here – http://www.binarymoon.co.uk/2005/12/regulus-20/

    gwyn – thanks for that. I’m already aware of the problem and the fix will be in the next update (some time towards the end of the month)

    Thanks everyone. I like constructive feedback so feel free to let me know what you think, but make sure you check out the post on my site – http://www.binarymoon.co.uk/2005/12/regulus-20/ – as a lot of requests have been made there.

    Thanks. I’ll check that out.

    All the plugins I am using with Regulus 2 are compatible with WordPress 2.0.1 and I love the theme. It’s perfect for my purposes and I appreciate the hard work that must have gone into it.

    My site – http:/spicycauldron.com – looks fantastic and WORKS in Internet Explorer. In Firefox I’ve had a heck of a time. I can’t get comments to work – I just get a blank comments.php page coming up after hitting send – and am wondering if the fault lies with the theme? Is there a php file in it I need to tweak and if so, can someone give me some instruction? I’d appreciate it as I’m new to both WordPress and php. Many thanks. There are other things going wrong, notably FAlbum but that, I think, is because it is stretching things a bit to say it’s exactly compatible with WordPress 2.0. Again, though, works fine in IE just not Firefox.

    Oh, and my site is http://spicycauldron.com. Help would be appreciated!

    I’ve just installed Regulus 2 on a clean installation of the latest version of WP, and I have a small issue – the posts in the content area seem to be nesting one inside the other as you move down the page, pushing the content to the right. See here. Normally, I’d say this was a div tag out of place, but I haven’t added anything to the content area except for a flickr stream (no design changes). I’m not that familiar with XHTML validation, so the messages from the validator were less than helpful. Any suggestions appreciated!

    spicycauldron – I don’t know why things aren’t working for you. I developed the theme in Firefox and have had no problems, and the theme can be seen on WordPress.com and no-one else has complained. Sorry…

    nammer – The content there has been slapped in a blockquote that isn’t closed. The problem appears to lie in the use of the excerpt reloaded plugin that I’m using to only show short posts on the homepage. Change the theme so it uses full posts and evething will fix itself.

    The other problem could be the use of the wordpress wysiwyg editor which appears to be causing other problems on some sites.

    Ben – thanks so much! I did close the blockquote I used on the first page when the post was written, so perhaps it is the WYSIWYG editor. In any case, it’s all good and I really love your theme – thanks for all your work.

    Hey BinaryMoon this is great!!! I love your theme but I can’t use it with XDForum plugin!!!

    If I activate the XDForum plugin all my links to Pages are disappearing (the top bar)…

    The author said that some themes aren’t working with it… Can you give me the fix?

    Thanks!!!

    Hmm. I’m trying to get this theme working but no go. I get a blank page when I activate it. I’ve checked my apache error log and it says there’s an error in line 121 of the index.php file for the theme. I’ve looked at it and it looks fine to me. I’m running WP 2.0.1. This is a completely fresh install of WP – no plugins or anything.
