I’ve been customizing my theme using the free version of pagelines platform for the past few days and I’ve found it to be extremely buggy.

I have the basic theme style that I want and I would like to transfer it to a wordpress framework.

The problem is I’ve got no idea on how to do this. Even though pagelines has a lot of options that you can customize within the control panel I edited the code itself (just colors, not the actual functionality). Most of the code is in one CSS file called theme.

    My website is petermacsblog.com

I want my whole theme to go with the home page. I don’t like the sidebar with the pagelines theme because I couldn’t change the widgets. All I want in the sidebar is a recent posts column and a recent comments column.

How do I go about transferring the CSS file into a wordpress framework?

  • Short answer – you can’t. The CSS has to be built to match the theme.

Alright, so I’m just gonna need a little help adjusting the theme a little more.

Here’s the problems that I need to take care of:
    1) When you view a post the text is black. I can’t find the code that I need to change and I’ve looked for a few hours.

    2) Also when viewing a post the phrases “One response to ______” and “Leave a Reply” are blacked out.

Once these settings are changed I’ll be done editing the theme!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You seem to have fixed this now, yes?

No, if you click on the hello world post you will see that the post content is black (so you can’t see it) along with the other phrases mentioned above.

    The home page is fine.

I was able to find it after all.

The font colors were next to a label called #page.
