[Plugin: Events Calendar] New events don't show up

I expereinced this problem and found that the date format example in the admin is incorrect. I needed to enter the date in this format: 2011-03-24, for March 24, 2011.

Still, my calendar does not add a class for css to dates with events, thus no one can tell for which dates there are events. (I am using the small calendar.)
