I´ve now tried several right-click protection plugins, that worked very well. Until the actual image is clicked on for a larger version..
Has anyone found a plugin that protects the images not just when they are thumbnails? Bacause this kind of defeits the purpose of ‘right-click protection’! :/

No, because it doesn’t work to prevent people from stealing your images.

Rule #1 – If it’s on the internet, it can (and will) be stolen.
Rule #2 – In case of disputes, see Rule #1

Ha ha, yes I am well aware of that, but why make it so damn easy? Many websites Ive visited have a function so that you at least have to try for a while if you want to steal the image, not JUST right-click?! Is this really not possible on WP?

I agree with @ipstenu, it’s simply not worth the effort, if someone wants to steal your work he will. The better solution would be watermarking your images.

That’s really the ONLY way of doing it. Watermark them in such a way as they cannot remove the watermark.

Is this really not possible on WP?

It’s not possible for ANY website. Seriously. Find me a website, I betcha I can steal the image without much work. Rightclick or not.
