   Hi,

   I am going to serve a podcast on my website; is there a way to force the link to the MP3 file to download in all browsers so it doesn't auto-play ?

   I'm sorry: No.

   There is no (standard-HTML) way of telling the browser to download without asking the user ...

   Okay - thanks. I thought I saw something regarding a javascript command; but that seems tediuos. I just tire of explaining the right-click/option-click mumbo-jumbo. But, maybe I shouldn't explain it at all.
