    A customer has asked me to provide a menu that organises content from the current category into the following format:

    2011
    2010
    2009
    2008
    Pre 2008

    Now if I just wanted to get a year I could use one of many plug ins or simply this:

    ?cat=9&year=2010

    But how to achieve the result the customer has asked of me has me baffled. I would be very grateful for any assistance.
