.htaccess file help

    so i am very new to all of this and very stuck I used one step install of word press using ipage hosting
    I am now trying to go back and look at the
    wp-config.php file but dont know where to find it

    I am trying to have Customized permalinks and to do that need to edit or create the .htaccess file… dont know if i have it and dont know how to check?

    wp-config.php can be found inside your FTP account.

    The .htaccess file can also be found there, or just go to your wp-admin -> “Settings” -> “Permalinks” and select your permalink settings.
