Support » Fixing WordPress » Suddenly no traffic?

  • I saw my numbers drop yesterday, then I checked google webmaster tools, wordpress.com (I have integrated their stats because it used to be a wordpress.com blog), and for some reason, I have gone to zero visits. I’ve been as high as 300 per day, and never lower than 50, since October.

I recently got google webmaster tools verified and resubmitted my sitemap, which was found ok, but I doubt this is the problem, since I always get at least SOME direct traffic. Just a fluke? A slow day? or some kind of error in the stats? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

PS: zero visits for several days, according to google analytics. 49 yesterday (a very low day for it), and zero today, according to wordpress.com stats.

I can’t see any Google Analytics tracking code in your code – check that you still have this installed.

that would eliminate any Google issues so that you can know for sure.

I have a similar problem – just launched site yesterday, and plugin stopped working, tracking no visits while Google Analytics (installed via Google Analytics for WordPress) recorded 100+ visits. Is there a conflict with Google Analytics?

my website traffic day before yesterday 500 but yesterday only 20 visits today also same problem, please help me.

Did you check your back linking if there’s any problem with it??

I had this issue aswell, was going to post my problem here now. But then I noticed broken html code in the footer.php. I’m hoping that this was why it didn’t work.

So check your footer.php for any inconcistent html tags. Mine was a
