    Hey guys,

I’m a total newb, however, I think I’ve installed everything correctly. I can view my posts like http://howtogetridofbedbugstoday.com/?p=5 however, I can no longer view the original site name. Instead, when i type in the browser the web address without the ?p=5, I get an error message saying that the site cannot be found. I used fantastico de luxe to install and everything went smoothly. What am I missing? Please advise. Thanks so much!

Hey chris, thanks for responding, however, when you type in the browser http://howtogetridofbedbugstoday.com it still shows the error message.

Ok guys, I think I’ve figured this thing out. My landing page shows up on IE and Safari, but not in firefox….. any explanation for this?

You still may be in cache press Ctrl+F5 to hard refresh

I’d agree with @govpatel – your site’s home page shows up fine in FireFox for me.

You guys are awesome. I realized what the issue was. Some of the WordPress themes have site issues that are not compatible with Firefox, IE, Chrome, or Netscape browsers. For anyone else who is experiencing the issue, just try a different theme or two and delete your cache.

Make sure you use WP Supercache to speed up your page loads .

Also realize that if you installed the HostGator VERSION of WordPress you may have a lot of problems with templates and plugins.
Their version of WordPress is not (usually) the same as the one you would download from here – that goes for GoDaddy also.

If you used HostGators instant install version of WordPress you may want to delete it and start over before you get to far. Been there – Done that 🙂
