I have the same problem. When I click download file, it goes back to the export page. I tried locating it in the /tmp directory on my server but it’s not there. I tried changing the permissions on the /tmp directory to 777 but the file still isnt showing.
There are two defects in this plugin. Both appear to be fixed in the CIMY User Manager plug-in that it was based on.
The first is a security issue: The export saves the user list to the system tmp directory. On a shared server this exposes your user account data (including passwords) to other users of the server. This is fixed in the CIMY plug-in by saving the data to a location within the wordpress installation.
The second is an issue with the download of the file, which does not appear to work reliably in this plug-in. This is fixed in the CIMY plug-in.
Also, the CIMY User Manager plug-in supports Import, which this one seems to have de-activated.

Are you saying to install the CIMY user manager and use its export function or
install the CIMY manager and use the Redux export (since it is based on CIMY and will update).
I tried both and CIMY exports and puts in a WP directory but doesnt contain the extra fields I add to the Redux registration. The Redux export does the same thing it did before, nothing…
Having the same issue. I would love a fix on this.
I hope this is fixed soon. I use the Redux register plugin and I need those additional fields exported.
This is really key for me…
I really hope this gets sorted. I’m sure that of the 768 that downloaded this plugin something could be sorted.
Thanks for reporting guys! I’ll look into this!
Having the same problem & hoping Ramon has a solution 🙂 Looks like an awesome plugin!
I’ve just committed V 1.1 , tested at WP 3.1.1
Yes, for the time being, importing has been disabled.
1) “nothing happens” when hitting download -> fixed
2) tmp dir -> now supports a dir you can define in your wp-config.php ( WP_TEMP_DIR )
Thanks Ramon, it’s now working PERFECTLY!
