Home / Fixing WordPress / Comment auto-approval glitch

Hi everyone,
So there is this problem I’ve been running into in regards to my wordpress-based blog.
I want WP to auto-approve comments from (new) visitors on (new) articles.
****************************************
I’ve disabled the following settings to do this, but it doesn’t work yet:
WP > Setting > Discussion
Other comments settings:
Comment author must fill out name and e-mail = ENABLED
Before a comment appears
An administrator must always approve the comment = DISABLED
Comment author must have a previously approved comment = DISABLED
With these settings you’d think that WP should automatically approve every new comment, but it doesn’t. I still get comments that require approval.
Can anyone please help me out? Am I missing something here?
Thanks a bunch!
Sascha

I have the same settings with the same issue and I’m running a multisite. Any luck on your solution?
