I was looking at our opposition
    http://www.ivymountguesthouse.com
and clicked on the new Google information (that pops up under each result) Yahoo Links, it took me to the incoming links for their site, of which they have 60; 48 of them are from our site one for each resent post I’ve posted.

They did introduce them selves to me some time ago in the form of a comment, on our site, which I confirmed as ok. But have now removed.

As I say that was some time ago, but recently I notice a map appear at the top of one of my posts.
    http://www.cornerstonesguesthouse.com/manchester/accommodation-manchester/

It may have nothing to do with the situation but I can’t see how the map is on my site, I went in to take it off and couldn’t see a link for it, and I can’t see any out going links to their site ether.

The map is the only thing I could see that has changed.

How can I get rid of the links to there site.

    Please

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
