Is it possible for an admin to change how permissions are set for different user levels? I’m specifically thinking as a designer, to let my clients allow me access to plugins and presentation without letting me into everything else. I don’t mind it personally, but I know it would give them a great sense of security knowing I could do everything with the look without effecting the content.
It’s possible something like this could be managed through the new user roles feature in WP 2, which though still in beta is coming along at a good pace. Here’s an article on roles and their capabilities from one of the devs:
Thanks… I’m not loving 2.0 – still less control over my posts, even for the good it does in other areas, it’s a little too much for me. I like the simpler 1.5 🙂
