504 Gateway Time-out

    Hi there,

    On my website: http://www.comicsenglish.com/ I now get this error:
    504 Gateway Time-out
    The server didn’t respond in time.

    This came after I tried to locate my httpaccess file by FTP – just downloaded it (after forcing Filezilla to show the hidden files), but haven’t changed it at all. (I did upload a file ‘test’ that I renamed in ‘.test.’ on the root of my FTP access (one folder up from the root of the website)). Since then, I can’t access it at all …

    I have another website on this server that is still running ok…

    Any ideas?

    The site is working fine for me. Did you resolve the problem? Perhaps you can share with others how you managed to resolve the issue.

    Im having the same problem after i tried to deactivate one of my plugins … man wordpress is complicated …. i just finished solving a log in problem… here we go again 🙁

    Apparently, there was a compatibility issue with some plugins. Although the website was not working, I could still access the wp-admin part. After I disable some plugins, it worked again and I could reactivate them later. (If I remember well, it was the cache plugin and the adblock thing that caused pb)
