[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Installation

    Does this work only with Self-Hosted WordPress sites or also with free WordPress sites?

    If it works with the latter, can you please explain the first 2 steps of the process?

    1) Delete any existing gapp or google-analytics-for-wordpress folder from the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

    2) Upload google-analytics-for-wordpress folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

    Am I supposed to upload folders via my dashboard?

    you should be doing it via ftp, o via the plugin installer in plugins>add new.

    But what do you mean with “free wordpress sites”?
    If you are talking about wordpress.com I don’t think you can install your own plugins, but I’m not sure though (but if you are on wordpress.com they provide their own stat system i think)
