• I went to search and found a random plugin with 5 stars. It was called youtube or something. I downloaded it via the install on wordpress then installed it. it said it was installed successfully. I can see it under the plugins tab. No errors. It is enabled. I went to the main wordpress webpage and i cant see the youtube on the main webpage screen everyone will see when they log onto my page. I also installed a few more plugins and enabled them, but cant see them when i go onto my webpage wordpress. I have the newest version. how do i display the plugins on the main page? v.3.0.4 downloaded today.

  • does the plugin show in the individual post?

    are there any instructions with the plugin?

    sometimes, a plugin needs some code entered into one/or more template files to make the functions visible.

    it might help if you could find the exact name of that plugin, so someone else can check for instructions.

    further, a link to your site might help to illustrate your problem;
    and the name and download link of your theme as well.

    and you have done this?
    added it in the content of a post or page?
    and still nothing?

    does it show in single posts?

    if yes, the reason might be, that your theme uses ‘the_excerpt(0;’ on the front page (in index.php ?), instead of ‘the_content();’
