Update problem

    -try contacting the webserver (unless you are your own server) if they have problem at their end, or they made any changes to your account, or if there are any limitations/restrictions, etc.

    Unfortunately, I am my own server (Synology DS410) and I am sure I am missing proper settings somewhere, i.e. in WordPress, in the DS410 settings, or both.
    I have also a “test server” installed on my PC under Vista64 and there the updates of both WordPress and plug-ins work. Neither work on my DS410.
