[Plugin: jQuery Colorbox] Image Descriptions in NextGen

    Hello, I noticed a previous topic regarding this, but I wanted to start a fresh one since the other is non-resolved for over a month.

    I *REALLY* love jquery-colorbox and how pretty it makes my nextgen galleries look. It’s exactly what I need for my site… however I really need the NextGen gallery descriptions to load at the bottom of the image somehow. I’m using a theme with the title at the top, and really want to know of a way to make the descriptions of the image work so they show at the bottom.

    I’ve searched so long for the perfect thing for my galleries, and this could be it if the descriptions could be shown… Please Help? Thanks.

    Hi,
    I am sorry, but loading the description in the colorbox is not possible at the moment.

    Everything about this plugin is perfect for my intended use, except for the lack of image descriptions.
    Is there really no way of getting them? If you can get the titles then surely you should be able to retrieve the descriptions?

    Any help is much appreciated!

    I too like this plugin to show the galleries in WordPress but need to show the description below the image in the lightbox. Any news on a method ?

    Hi,
    not really, I still haven’t found a generic way to add descriptions to the colorbox.
