you can use the shortcode [locations_map scope=”future”], that should do it, have a look at the docs for more info.
Hi,
This doesn’t seem to work for me.
I’ve added the above shortcode to a new page http://marketangel.com.au/kat/events/market-map, when the page loads it says “Loading Map…” then nothing.
I am getting the following error message related to the page, don’t know if this helps at all
Message: Invalid argument.
Line: 18
Char: 207
Code: 0
URI: http://maps.gstatic.com/intl/en_au/mapfiles/api-3/3/13/main.js
Thanks, from what I’ve seen of this plugin is looks awesome, can’t wait to get the maps working.
There seems no responce from this google URL:
http://gg.google.com/csi?v=2&s=mapsapi3&action=apiboot&rt=jl.1074,mc.3681,mb.3948,vt.5335,prt.5335,plt.2728,mt.5337&size=600×0&maptype=m
Perhaps this 204 response (no content) copuld be related the previously false config params (wild guess) but still I would expect “some data”
(chekced with Firefox 4 and Firebug net trace).
99% chance you have a JS issue with your theme or another plugin which is breaking the Google Maps JS.
Thanks Marcus,
Do you have any advice on how I can pinpoint where the issue is then and how to fix it.
I’ve deactivated all the other plugins and changed the theme to Twenty Ten, but still getting the same problem.
Any advice??
Hi,
Just another note – the Google Map works fine when displayed with the event and also on the individual location page.
Just seems to be a problem when trying to display using [locations_map scope=”future”]
I have checked on IE8 and Firefox and it doesn’t work on either.
on some installs the global map wasn’t working, but it should be ok now in 4.0.6
Great, it works perfect now Marcus.
