Please any help here would be great. I am sure it is something small and stupid.
Well, I’d start by fixing the errors the validator is showing: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.footballcase.com/blog/
Clean xhtml/css is so much easier to “fix”. If you get rid of all the errors, the problem may even correct itself.
Thanks I will validate it, but you have any idea why the header and footer are off alignment?
Wrong approach 🙂
You should do it in the order vkaryl suggested – first validate and after that, if it’s not corrected, we will try to help.

I was just looking for some pointers on the error itself comparable to all the validation errors. I am not a CSS or PHP expert, but I am still learning.
Please, understand: we didn’t ask you to validate because we are “validation freaks” (at least I am not:).
But having 56 errors as you have now it means we have to go through all of those to see whether one of them is causing the problem. Now that’s a time consuming task… However, if it is valid (or have 2-3 errors) we can look at the rest of the site/code to determine the “pointer” you are waiting for. And validating the site isn’t PHP or CSS, it’s just HTML… ok, XHTML.
Well, I AM a validation freak (for which twitch in my headcase I refuse to apologize), and sorry, but there’s no way I’m going to try to dig through that many errors to try to figure out the OP’s header/footer problem. Nothing jumped right out at me from looking at the html/css, and until it’s cleaned up some probably nothing WILL jump out at me….
Sure I understand. I am working on them.
That’s good, and when you get it down to 10 or so, if things are still wonky, holler.
