   After 2 hours of installing deleting and reinstalling I am joining and posting here:
   I have the site up and going at http://www.soonerx.com I log into the admin area no problem.
   I go to post a comment write something I put in title "ttt" (no quotes) and some text "blah" and I am logged in as admin. I hit publish and this appears - Post saved. View site » but nothing shows up anywhere on front page or awaiting or anything. I even tried to save as draft. Im totally lost. Brinkster tells me not their issue and they dont help with coding. Well guys and gals Im stuck. I used aquafold to connect to DB(MySQL) and there is nothing in table for posts. I also had all the permisions changed for the folders to write access and read. Im not getting any errors over that. So its like its not updating db but teling me it is. I do know that they dont support .htaccess but I see other people have wordpress on their brinkster hosted site. Please give me some steps to walk through. Thanks. - Sean L. Oklahoma City.

   Only looks like we live here prob'ly....

   Have you checked to see if your posts are held in the moderation queue?

   Well Id like to say that I didnt see any. I came home logged in and forgot password so I remoted back to computer back at work logged in. Went to change password and it says session expired and will not let me log in with new password.

   I have brinkster that doesnt allow me to have phpadmin..I can connect using aquafold but I dont see MD5 as a choice when altering the table. Arrghhhhh, I chaNged it to text and still not able to access it. I think I will delete and start over any other suggestions?

   Other than finding a "real" host that allows you phpmyadmin, etc? No... sorry. AFAIK, using phpmyadmin is pretty much the only way to recover.

   You can try asking brinkster if they've any way to assist - but I wouldn't hold my breath, if I were you.
