500-Server Error | Uninstall | Install->Server Error

    Good Afternoon (PST)

    Our site experienced a (presumed) site-provoked 500-server error this morning.
    In a guess, we cleared the .htaccess file of iThemes notes and renamed the plugin directory. This cleared the error.

    However, now we’re unable to reinstall the plugin without provoking the 500 error again.

    Thoughts on the best way to reinstall iThemes Security?
