500 Server Error

    hi all

    Trying to get into the login area to get into Blog

    Keeps hanging with following message:

    Server Error
    The following error occurred:

    [code=SERVER_RESPONSE_RESET] The server response could not be read because of an error. Contact your system administrator.
    Please contact the administrator.

    Is it my server where I am located?

    After 5 mins of trying to even load the page, I get this URL

    http://www.mydomain_name/QpXUW/QpXUW/MamoT/wordpress/wp-login.php

    Do I have a crusty server where I am located ?(even with a 4MB line & 3.41MB tested download speed)

    Is this cookie related?
    I feel like feeding this PC / server a Cyanide cookie with cream..

    I was able to get around the 500 error by bumping up the timeout setting to something crazy.

    However, even though the page will now eventually load correctly, it takes forever (~120 seconds).

    I’ve had a few wordpress sites running on my server for over a year without this problem. Just recently I created another site but used a much newer WP install (~2.8). I upgraded to the latest one and still have the problem.

    It could be a coincidence, I’m not trying to railroad WP, but thought I would throw that out there.
