I can't get any part of my site to load http://www.seowizz.net/, I had trouble with the 2.8 update which seemed to be resolved but now all I am getting is a 500 server error?

    Any help please :)

Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, activate the plugins one by one - checking the site after each re-activation - until you find the problematic plugin(s).

If you can't even login to your site, FTP to the wp-content/plugins directory and rename the individual plugin folders to deactivate them.

There are a lot of us with this problem. On my install, it has got a lot worse today than it was last night.

I can see the site fine now. Did you manage to tack down the problem?

Seowizz1 - I have just been through every single one of my plugins and tested repeatedly. As soon as I reactivated one of them the Error 500 Internal Server Error occurred immediately. The culprit was wp security scan.

On rechecking the download page, this plugin is compatible up to 2.7.1.

I'm hopeful that I can now get on with some blogging... ! With some luck, wp security scan will be updated soon so that it is compatible with the new version of WordPress.

Apparently it was a server issue, not convinved as I have been having problems since I upgraded to 2.8. fingers crossed
