• I got a 500 – Internal server error when I tried accesing /wp-admin/install.php in my browser. I’ve checked the information a few times and still the same result. One thing is terribly odd and it’s that I’ve succesfully installed this before but I removed it for some reason. Now I can’t seem to install it again. I haven’t tried to install a new version. But if you have any other suggestions I’m all eyes.

  • I think it is .htaccess file that is there is causing the problem using ftp rename that hidden file and see if that solves your problem.

can’t seem to find that file…where should it be located ?

it is hidden file so you have to allow hidden files to show by login in your server If you use cpanel and click on file manager the pop has show hidden files tick that or use ftp and change option to see the hidden file.
