I recently updated from 2.6.2 to 2.8 and can't get my posts and pages to load - I get a 500 error. Prior to the upgrade, my permalinks worked just fine.

Hi,
To resolve this I have found this solution. Please have a check with these options.
1) Either rename Plugins directory or disable all the Plugins from database.
2) Redo the upgrade and upgrade wordpress manually.Thanks,
