500 error code ONLY in Chrome for front page (1 post)

    After updating to the latest Version of WordPress my site will not load in Chrome, but will in Safari and Firefox. It also will load any page EXCEPT the base URL. Additionally in the admin it says that there is a plugin to update (1 in black circle) but there is no plugin needing to be updated.
