5 Custom Post Types – 5th One No Archive/Gen Post Options

    Good afternoon –

    I have just added my 5th custom post type and do not have an archive page generating for this subset, nor do I have the General Post Options in the admin area where I write my posts.

    Is this due to the 3.8 update or do I have too many post types – or have I completely forgotten some step to make these things happen? My setup from the other custom posts types is identical to this latest version. When I go into Custom Post Type Maker I have the same boxes checked and the same dropdowns set.

    What error do you get?
    Try to go to Settings > Permalinks and save there to refresh the rewrite rules. The current version from wp.org has a problem there.

    Secondly have a look at the “Screen Options” on your CPTs edit page. Maybe one of the metaboxes is deactivated.

    If these things do not work let me know again.
