• Hi,
I’m sure this is a no-brainer for all of you!

I’m going to get a Mac this week and I was wondering if my theme in twentyten and everything else that I”m used to when I’m editing will be different. I’m not really proficient in Macs but I really want the change.

    Thanks!

If you work from the browser, there should be very little, if any difference at all. A lot of people go back and forth (PC at work, Mac at home) with no problem at all.
One difference would be desktop software. If you’re using something like filezilla and notepad++ for template editing, you’ll need to switch to Mac alternatives like transmit and textmate. There are free options like cyberduck and fraise, too.
    Enjoy your new mac!

I dont know much about Macs but I know users swear by Coda for web dev.

Thanks so much! I’ll look into that template editing software!

    I appreciate your responses.
