Is there a program or technique that will tell you what a certain color is that you find on webpages as you surf the Internet?
For perhaps using that color in your webpage.
Thanks!

Windows, freeware.
Also "Color Cop" at http://www.datastic.com/tools/colorcop/ which uses an eyedropper to allow you capture colors from the screen.
Thanks a lot guys! they are exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to play with them.

I use the expensive way: Buy photoshop, make a screenshot and load it in photoshop. ;-)
I guess the tools above are more effective...
By the way, has anyone a program which does this on the mac (os X)???
I should search before writing: OS X has a colorpicker installed... you can find this program under "Programs - Utilities"...
Try this too, it was made for "identifying colors on webpages":
I use a firefox plugin.
Edit: it's called colorzilla
Or this very practical little program

Thanks a lot guys, all the programs are great! I like the ability to target very small areas.
This will really speed up making webpages.
macmanx, that RedAlt page is interesting, in that it gives you all the colors on a site.
