recommend a theme

I plan on a blog that will encompass a huge body of original work. There will be many many cross referenced separate articles and surveys and although it will be fun and challenging to read, there will be a lot of words.

I’m looking for something with an authoritative feel and easy on the eye and easy to read lots of text that can be set out to make it as relaxing as possible to read.

Above all it needs a serious academic feel.

Any suggestions. I’m completely new to this.
