I am a newbie using the Summer Sun 0.7 template. When I "Write a Page" it does not appear in the header tabs of the theme as expected. I can view pages I create in the Edit section, but how do I make pages appear as tabs in this Theme? I am hoping this is a setting from the Dashboard, rather than making a change at the code level. Thanks!

Unless we see it I don't know where do you expect them to appear and why. Is there are code that should display the Pages "in the header tabs"?

    Moshu:

Thanks for the prompt reply. I think I uncovered the problem, but I would still appreciate your help with the solution. Here is a link to the Theme.

When I reviewed comments to the developer from users, I discovered someone else had noted the same problem. Here is the developer’s response:

“Gatto, since there is just one default template file (page.php) in the theme there can't be a template selection in the administration interface.

Try adding a PHP-comment with the template name at the beginning of a new file to implement custom templates. (Also read the WordPress Codex article on creating pages.)

I've tested custom pages with the theme and it works just fine.

NOTE: I have never used PHP before, and find this confusing. However, if you can point me to the code, and tell me exactly where to add it, I will try and fix this. THANKS!

What you quoted from his comments have nothing to do with your question.
When I said "link" I meant a link to your site to see the theme (sorry, I will not download and install it just to see what your problem is). ON the author's site there is just a small picture which doesn't help. Can't see what do you expect to have in the header tabs.
One solution might be - paste the header.php code to http://pastebin.com and post back with the URI.
