    One more question:
It seems that wordpress.org profile default image is different from what I see here in the forums – are those two different account under single login?

Click on “Member” under your pic – takes you to //wordpress.org/support/profile/blastchat

Your profile > Edit > Edit your Gravatar at Gravatar.com

so I have to create new account at gravatar.com to be able to change profile picture at /wordpress.org/support/profile/blastchat ?

and what about profile image at http://profiles.wordpress.org/users/BlastChat/ is that a completely different profile from ‘support’ profile?

Well, that’s kind of the beauty of Gravatar (aka Globally Recognized Avatar).

Gravtars are tied directly to your email address. So, as soon as you make an account at Gravatar, link your email address to it, and upload an avatar, your new avatar will appear for your account on any Gravatar-enabled sites. This is includes (but is not limited to) the forums here, profiles.wordpress.org, and the comments on most WordPress-powered blogs.
