I'm having some problems with Trackbacks and I'm not sure what to check.
I tried posting a trackback for a previous post on my website and it doesn't showup. I'm not sure where to start looking for the problem. The trackbacks never show up in the comments.

I've got a Custom Template.
I've also upgraded to 1.5.2
I'm unsure of where to look next for the problem.
Type the URL of post 1 into the body of post2
post 1 will then have the trackback (or reference of the url) from post 2
make sure allow
or
put the permanent url (permalink - whole url - http://whatever.com/this ) of post 1 into the "send trackbacks to" of post2
make sure allow pings is checked

I used the Trackback URL from Post 1 in the Trackback Field when I made Post 2.

I also verified the Allow Pings was turned on. I've used Typepad before this so I am familiar in how to use a TrackBack.

Update, I'm able to send trackbacks to other people, but income trackbacks aren't happening. I even checked the table in mysql. They aren't even showing up there. Can anyone point to what I might look into for the problem. I've read everything I can. I tried redalt and other trackback testing sites but I can't think of anything else.

I feel like an idiot. I didn't realize I had Ir2Spam plugin enabled. As soon as I disabled that everything started working.
