Why can't I upgrade anything automatically ?

    Hello. My site has a problem: I can’t use the automatic upgrade feature for plugins or the word press version.

    Why does this happen ? Any possible fix ?

    Please define “can’t use”… Do you get any error messages at all?

    Yes, during each upgrade, at the Unpacking the pack step I get the error with “Failed upgrade”. Also the site stops running for few minutes, then comes back online.

    Could not create directory.: /public_html

    What’s with this error ?
