I’m the plugin author and never experienced this kind of problem. I neither have errors feedback. WP better emails is supposed to work with other plugins if they use the wp_mail function and send plain/text formatted emails.

Thanks a lot for a quick response.
As I have mentioned, “Send an email preview to…” doesnt work, I tried a google mail address. When “Send” is clicked, nothing happens.
The mail I/subscriber gets when in normal use (with the default html code) isnt that well formatted as it shows in the plugin screenshots.

I need more information to help you on this issue, hard to evaluate a problem without it. What browser are you using ? Did you try do desactivate other plugins to see if it works ?
Actually, the “send preview” button should display something even it doesn’t work (email si empty, email is not valid, etc.). It just can’t display nothing unless you have javascript disabled on your browser.
Could you tell me more about your second issue too ? Forward me the email that’s not looking good for example ?
Note that if the email already contains HTML, WP Better Emails won’t wrap it with the template. This to prevent messing with other plugins that could have included templates with their emails.
Someone contacted me for a similar problem, a file was missing on his server. Try to uninstall the plugin (desactivate > delete) and then reinstall it from the add plugin menu to be sure to get the last version.
Everything should work fine.

No I can’t add an avatar support. HTML Emails does it but requires to write one template for each type of email sent with WP (notifications, lost password, registration, etc.) whereas WP Better Emails works for every emails with one and only template in a much simpler way.

I’m posting in this topic because there is a major bug on line 52 of wpbe-options.php that can’t let the email preview work: the opening php tag is simply missing! So the nonce value is wrong. You haven’t got feedback yet on this bug?

I actually have a new release nearly ready to be out since 2 or 3 month but I’m lacking time to test it, fix a few bugs, etc. Hope I will in the next 2 weeks.
