    I’m running GT 1.3.2
    running php5

I have global translator all setup been using it for some time
but one thing I have wanted to know for a long time is “what make global translator cache a page?”

    for example
I have the GT cache set for 1 months time & now & then i make big changes to my site & need to delete the GT cache
& after I do I try to make GT re cache pages that get hit a lot.
I do this by making my IE 8 go to the pages I want cached
but at the same time I’m doing a tail on GT debug.log in my ssh
& everything works fine but looking at the debug.log, GT is not caching my hits
& the same go’s for other ppl
the only time I ever really see GT cache a hit is when its a crawler hitting my site for a GT page.

now i did thinking it maybe an agent thing that makes it act like that.
so i got a user agent spoofer for my IE & set it to one of the crawlers agent info.

but GT would not cache my hits.
I’m never loged in when i try,
I remove all my cookies &
I tried it on 4 computers.

is there some way I can get GT to cache my hits????

i know the pay GT will do it for you but i don’t have that kind of $ for a plugin at this point in time.
