• I’ve built a site for a client at http://www.ccas.org.au. Client uses IE8. Client can see the logo and the slider on the home page, but no images below the slider. Just boxes with a red X in them. These are the same images from the client’s previous site, which she could see quite easily on IE8. They are a mix of .png and .jpg

Initially I loaded up WP and used the address http://ccas.org.au Client then only saw a screen with Windows IIS7 displayed on it. I added the www to the address in the WordPress General settings, and now client can see the site but not the images.

I am using a theme called Striking http://themeforest.net/item/striking-premium-corporate-portfolio-wp-theme/128763 which I have used before on another client’s site with no issues whatsoever.

I understand there are some known glitches with IE8 displaying images. Is this a case of a known glitch, and is there a bug fix? I have done a search of this forum and not found the same problem and a fix for it. Or is it the client’s setup on their own server?

Any urgent help would be much appreciated

-the site has some markup errors, I am not sure if that’s what causing the glitch. You may want to look into them.

-double check the image upload path (Admin-Settings-Media)

-also make sure the upload folder is writable.
