  • looks nice.

    It doesn’t like the 2.0 version of fuzzy recent updates / fuzzy recent comments – uninstall /delete these first prior to installing recent-posts or you’re in for a nasty suprise.

    Missing from recent posts is the >> RSS Feed link : is this intentional?

    Also, it would be nice to have a method to ensure that one categories posting doesn’t dominate the recent posts list – categories could be round robined or selectively included.

    @Anoymous-surfing-tips

    that is what i try to do as well… qoute from my last post.

    List Recent update post by catagory? ( With date next to them )

    Or List recent update post by date with Catagory next to them……. )

    thanks for the feedback.

    – the v.2.0 problem will be fixed in RC2, by the end of the week

    – RSS feed link disappeared because it is redundant with:

    http://www.semiologic.com/projects/subscribe-me/

    v.3 had a means to select one or more categories to display. I removed the feature partially: It now only displays the posts from the main category when used in conjuction with my opt-in front page plugin, which is being rewritten as well.

    The rational behind removing it is that if you need anything more complex than a simple post list, you’re likely better off querying the wpdb directly and creating the template that suits your requirements.

    re: >>RSS Feed link – makes sense to me now. Thought the subscribe me now was the newsletter plug-in.

    Nice RSS admin panel for subscribe-me… have you considered supporting category level RSS feeds? It would be nice to place a sitewide RSS feed on the homepage and specific RSS feed links in the category pages.

    Looking forward to the RC2 recent-posts version – all your plug-ins are great!

    I would like not to list some specific pages in Fuzzy recent posts. Is it possible to insert the ‘exclude’ tag in ‘<?php the_recent_posts(); ?>’ (is in the sidebar), or alternatively, what would be the script for excluding pages in the list of recent posts if the pages option is set to true?
    Thanks!

    by default, the script excludes the home page and the sidebar page if you are using my static front page and sidebar tile plugins. other than that, it excludes nothing.
