• Is there a way to change permissions (roles) of all users on the network? for example, remove certain capabilities from all admins?

I found a good plugin here that lets you do everything i am looking for, except it is specific to each individual user’s blog. ie. i would have to edit each blog one by one. This is the plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/capsman/

    Thanks!

Actually, this plugin here seems to be what I’d be looking for, except for that fact that it doesn’t allow changing of admin permissions (this could be circumvented with a plugin that could determine a default role for all new users other than “administrator”, but I am unaware of any such plugin, although this one comes close).

The MEMBERS plugin permits you to change the permissions for te administrator role (not the superadministrator), it seems to work…

for example, remove certain capabilities from all admins?

Hide menus you pick from all users, globally.
