When I click the “X comments, join in” link on my index page, I am indeed taken to the comments section of a post. However, the text of the post and the sidebar info is missing–I cannot scroll up to see the rest of the post. And the avatars from other comments are out of line. Refreshing the page in IE8 returns all the information, but in Chrome nothing happens.

    Site is The Editor’s Blog.

I don’t remember this being a problem before. I have done some style sheet tweaking recently, but nothing that touched the comments.

Is there a way to anchor the link to the comments section without losing the rest of the post and the sidebar info? Where/how is that done?

    Thanks.

The problem was in a style sheet change that I made. I have bottom margins and padding in my left and right sidebars set extra large to allow the wrapper and footers to line up correctly. I was cleaning up CSS–I added “px” next to these elements to validate CSS. However, for some reason that was the culprit. Once I removed “px” from those items, my comments links returned to normal.
