Update post result in 404

    Sometimes when I update a post, or go to post a new post, I get brought back to my site and WordPress says: Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.

    This is on a theme I built, but it also happens on another install with another theme.

    It’s always random, so I don’t know where to begin to debug.

    Hints? Tips?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Yeah, seems to be definitely a theme related issue. Now to figure out what’s going on.
