[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Square picture hang up and automatic change large picture?

Hi

I’m new to programming and wordpress but I spent the weekend setting up a site.

I have 2 questions (for now..) and I will be very grateful for some answers.

1) Some of my pictures are square and not rectangular. When I use IE this pictures “hang up” when they are viewed large (Firefox works of course perfect). The two pictures are in this location:

Portfolio: left corner bottom.
People: first photo (pregnant women)
Any solution?

2) When you click on a thumbnail the picture pops up large and the background fade. I would like the site to change picture to the next in about 5 seconds- i.e. I want to start a slide show when you click on a thumbnail that looks exactly like the image when they are viewed large. Is there any way to do this? I have tried to install “JW Image Rotator from Jeroen Wijering” and another plug-in than nextGen but they are only making slideshows I do not like.

I’m grateful for any help and solutions.
