Problems with Appearance

    Hi,

    Yesterday I uploaded a photo as header. Today I can’t even find neither “Header” nor “Background” under “Appearance”, they have just disappeared from the drop down menu. I have also tried installing a theme, could that have something to do with it?

    Please help! 🙂

    Chances are the new theme doesn’t support the header or background functions that the theme you had offered. Unfortunately not all themes offer those capabilities.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Thanks for the quick replies! I deactivated the plugins and re-installed Twenty Ten (the one I tried to install earlier) and voila – it’s working again! Thank you!
