    Hey Everyone,

    I have a code to show the latest comments in a widget on the front page of my site. I want to add the users picture on to the info being generated, unfortunately i cant figure it out i was hoping to get some help.

    Change $sql = "..." to the following:

    $sql = "SELECT DISTINCT ID, post_title, post_password, comment_ID,
	comment_post_ID, comment_author, comment_date_gmt, comment_approved,
	comment_type, comment_author_url, comment_author_email
	SUBSTRING(comment_content,1,30) AS com_excerpt
	FROM $wpdb->comments
	LEFT OUTER JOIN $wpdb->posts ON ($wpdb->comments.comment_post_ID =
	$wpdb->posts.ID)
	WHERE comment_approved = '1' AND comment_type = '' AND
	post_password = ''
	ORDER BY comment_date_gmt DESC
	LIMIT 10";

    I’ve added to fetch the comment author’s email address and you can output their Gravatar using echo get_avatar($comment->comment_author_email);

    Check out the documentation for get_avatar() for other parameters.
