[Plugin: Meteor Slides] Conflict with CPT Featured Image

I use Meteor Slides for several sites and just discovered that there seems to be some sort of conflict between the plugin and the ability to have featured images in other custom post types. When I create new types and try to create new posts they don’t show the featured image panel, but with Meteor Slides deactivated they do.

Can I change the add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’ ); in functions.php i any way so that it will work?
